Business data: products, inventory, sales, invoices, customers, suppliers, payments, expenditures, reports, and settings you enter in the application.

Technical information: login timestamps, device/browser details, IP address, and usage logs needed for security, troubleshooting, and service improvement.

We use your information to create and manage your account, provide platform features, generate invoices and reports, send in-app notifications, process subscriptions, and respond to support requests.

We may use aggregated or anonymized data to analyze product usage and improve reliability. We do not sell your personal business data to third parties.

If you enable SMS or notification features, we process customer phone numbers and message content required to deliver due reminders or alerts configured by your business.

You are responsible for obtaining any customer consent required before sending SMS messages through the platform.

We share data only with infrastructure providers and subprocessors necessary to host, secure, and operate the service (for example cloud hosting and email delivery), under appropriate confidentiality obligations.

We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, safety, and integrity of the platform and its users.

We retain account and business data while your subscription is active and for a reasonable period afterward for backup, audit, and legal compliance purposes.

We apply administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect data, including tenant isolation, access controls, and encrypted transport where supported. No online system can be guaranteed 100% secure.

You may update business profile and operational settings within the dashboard. Account deletion or data export requests may be submitted through support channels where available.

You can control certain notification preferences inside the product when those options are provided.

The web application uses cookies or browser local storage to maintain login sessions and remember preferences. These are essential for authentication and core functionality.

Digital Khata Nepal is intended for business use and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
